Built on the technology we developed for our Fleet & Low Bridges Solution, we have now added mainland UK locations for over 1400 weight and width
restrictions. Collecting and checking information from across the country. After extensive testing we now have a fully comprehensive solution.
This "proCAB" Solution brings together data on over 3,500 Low Bridges and over 1,400 Weight & Width restrictions.
Following the conventions used on signs the Weight is provided in Tonnes and Width in Feet & Inches. All weights are listed in M.G.W. (or axle weight if shown),
with indications of the restriction in terms of Environmental or Structural limits. As with the Low Bridges the road name, structure, road type and locations
are provided.
Taking the existing Fleet & Low Bridge Solution and combining it with our brand new Weight & Width Restrictions Product. This makes a combination with
all of the daily hazards and restrictions that cause drivers the biggest problems.
No longer will you come up against Low Bridges, Narrow or Restricted Bridges or Weak Structures. You can now plan your journeys with ease and avoid all
of these problems.
No more using the Low Bridges Solution only to find a weight limit on the alternative road that you picked ! You have access to a massive data set, with over
3500 Low bridges and over 1400 weight & width restrictions for mainland UK.
Why is it called "proCAB" ?
A driver who was testing this for us, commented that this system was just like having a seasoned professional in his cab. We liked the idea of this and so we
named the product and by combining "pro" from "professional" and "CAB" to show its an "in cab solution" !
In one easy to use package you will get a combined solution which will enable you to plan, locate and avoid Low Bridges, Weight Restrictions and Width
Restrictions. Including over 3,500 bridge heights and over 1400 weights and widths.
With planning and map features integrated with the solutions,
you can now see all of the locations, with the weights, heights
and widths on one map or list. The picture shows the system
being use before travel to see what problems are on the route
ahead.
Included are separate categories for Low Bridge Heights (6ft to 16ft), Weight Limits (from 1 to 44T with M.G.W. and axle weight) and Width Restrictions
(from 6ft up to 8ft). These can all be used individually or together and each category can be picked to match the vehicle driven.
Contract drivers or drivers whose loads alters over a trip will find this especially useful. The settings can be changed easily within the sat-nav,
allowing the driver to change the heights, widths and weights when required.

Providing a reliable set of locations for drivers
We have worked hard to include in the package all of the places that drivers have requested.
We have bought all these data sets ttogether in one easy to install and use product. Many drivers
have asked for Industrial Estates, Trading Parks, Shopping Parks, Motorway Services, HGV fuel
stations, 24hr fuel stations and particular brands, including Keyfuels.
Also much requested are ports, docks and harbours, congestion zones, individual up to date
supermarket locations and car parks. With the fuel cards we have broken them down into an all
inclusive category, one which allow HGV's and ones which allow SMART cards. For the fuel
stations we have done likewise and have an inclusive category as well as HGV and 24hr services.
